由新銳導演Ross Ching所執導的影片Running on Empty，音樂來自Radiohead的No Surprises，Ross Ching本人住在洛杉磯長期受交通壅塞所苦，在看到了攝影師Matt Logue的Empty LA有感，旋即製作了這部影片，在欣賞影片同時，Thom Yorke呢喃的歌聲No alarms and no surprise在耳中環繞，更加劇此作品所表達空寂感受。

“live in Los Angeles. I drive in Los Angeles. I think about traffic a lot in Los Angeles. A few months ago, I discovered Matt Logue’s Empty LA photographs. I didn’t think much about it at the time, but every time I was stuck in rush hour all-hour traffic, I found myself thinking, “What if tomorrow everyone’s car disappeared.”
What would that scene look like? How would people react? How quickly would the atmosphere rebound from centuries of fossil fuel emissions? ”
